And a Happy New Donut
I wanted to write something here to look back on the year that’s passed, because it’s been a really intense and amazing year for me in lots of ways, and looking forward to the year ahead, because it is already absolutely jam-packed with awesome and exciting things. But, let’s be honest. I’m KNACKERED. I am getting ready to power down and go into full-on Christmas Hibernation mode, but before I go I just wanted to send a message of thanks to all of you who’ve supported me and my robots and my weird little donuts this year. I hope you all get the presents you wanted, and a chocolate orange, and a lie in.
Due to a failure of planning / remembering how ‘years’ work (look, I’ve been busy. There were bagels. It’s a blur), I failed to draw any Christmassy Donut Squads this year, and I am mad at myself about it. But never mind, here, have one from last year:

Oh hey, one more fun thing. At Comics Club the other day we were doing some fun festive comics jams where I started off a quick Villinoos strip (these kids love the Vilinoos, it turns out! Absolutely delightful) and then photocopied it so everyone could finish the story off in their own way. Anyway, I brought one home for Logan - it seemed only fair, they are his characters after all - and he had a go, so here for your enjoyment is an EXTREMELY quick SPECIAL BONUS CHRISTMAS EPISODE of the Villinoos, by me (panels 1-2) and Logan (panels 3-4):
