OTHER NEWS: I had a fantastic day on Saturday with the aforementioned
at the inaugural Waterstones Children’s Books Festival in Lincoln, where we put on a big theatre show for 600-odd kids, made a lot of noise and drew a load of absolute nonsense. I will not begin to attempt to describe it, other than to say it is always such a treat to do these events with Jamie, who is (obviously) The Best. Thanks for having us Waterstones, thanks for having us Lincoln, and thanks so much to everyone who came along and gave us so much love and enthusiasm and completely demented ideas for things to draw.
OTHER NEWS! I had a lovely chat with
recently, all about writing, drawing, comics and why they are having a bit of a moment, all that good stuff.
You can go and watch and listen to it there! I feel I should perhaps point out that I hadn’t realised it was a video podcast so I was, uh, ‘Dressed For Audio’. By which I mean, QUITE SCRUFFY. But hey, consider it a thrilling behind-the-scenes peek at the unvarnished reality of a middle-aged comics artist.
