…and SOON, too!

It is only just over a week now until Donut Squad Take Over The World - Thurs 8th May, pre-order your copy now! - and then, having done so, they will be moving very quickly with a follow-up strike to Take Over THE INTERNET. By which I mean, I will be joining those nice people at the Phoenix for a special DONUT SQUAD TAKEOVER Digital Workshop, Sunday 11th May! These things are always really fun and I think this one will just be absolute joyous chaos, so do join us if you can!

But yeah - just over a week to go! It’s a weird time. In theory this would be kind of the calm before the storm of all the events I’ll be doing in May. But of course, I am frantically drawing comics to try and get ahead of the curve and try and make up as far as possible for the fact that I won’t actually be at my drawing board for the best part of an entire month, because of all the aforementioned being-on-the-road-doing-events for all of May. So it’s actually kind of the… storm before the storm?

Of course, the fact that there’s only one week to go until the book comes out means one important thing - which is that you only have one week left to pre-order it! And if you do so directly from The Phoenix, you can get this cool exclusive Team Donut badge, to indicate your allegiance!

“BUT WAIT”, I hear you say. “I am NOT in fact a member of Team Donut. In fact I despise donuts and everything they stand for, and am a diehard partisan for Team Bagel.” Well, my curiously aggressive imaginary friend, I am delighted to inform you that the Phoenix now offer a range of BAGEL BATTALLION merchandise, too! Genuinely. These exist. I know this seems like a ‘funny joke’ I would make, but I assure you: these are real physical objects that someone made, and that you can exchange for currency.

Again, just to be absolutely clear: you can buy a BRIAN badge. This is a thing that actually exists.

Or possibly I ate some bad cheese / received a severe head injury several months ago, and am hallucinating this entire thing? Honestly, that might make more sense. Really there is only one way to be sure, and that is to get along and check out the Phoenix shop for yourself.
