Celebrate DONUT SQUAD with Waterstones!

It’s only, what, a week and a bit now until Donut Squad take over the world with the release of their first book, called… wait, what was it called again? Oh that’s right, DONUT SQUAD TAKE OVER THE WORLD! A title that, it turns out, is at risk of becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy, as there is a LOT of fun donut-based stuff coming at you soon!

Firstly, I’m going to be doing a few just-announced events with the fine people of Waterstones! I’ll be doing big donut-y window paintings and then running comics workshops at their branches in Liverpool (Tues 20 May) and London Finchley Road (Weds 21 May)! Don’t live near either of those places? Don’t worry, I’m then doing a VIRTUAL SCHOOL EVENT on Thurs 22 May, and then back to London for a very special event to round out the month at Waterstones Piccadilly (Friday 30 May)!

Don’t live near any of THOSE places? Well don’t worry, because that really is only the start of it. Perhaps recognising that I am not in fact Father Christmas and my ability to be in multiple places at once is somewhat limited by boring old things like ‘the laws of reality and physics’, Waterstones will ALSO be hosting special Donut Squad events at branches all across the country! Without me even needing to be there!

Drawing games, activities, treasure hunts… ACTUAL DONUTS?? There’s a lot going on this May half term, and it really is statistically very probably happening at a bookshop near you. 57 branches and counting, last I heard! This really is all pretty wild, and I am completely blown away by how much Waterstones are getting behind this book. How can we thank them for this incredible support?
